Play That Bass
When I hear music
I am captured by the beat
Not caring who’s around
When I hear it played for me
The music lifts me up
In a funky sort of way
And I move my body around
When I hear that bass played
I dance a little wildly
When I hear my songs
And enjoy being free
To dance hours long
Music is my master
Parading me about
With that nasty bass
Making me want to shout
When the music stops
I am calm again
And I know that to the core
I am a music man

Right on soul man i'm in total harmony with your writing today.
Outstanding, da! Glad you could enjoy this little piece.
Good write wc.
Thanks orchidee.
Fun wc!
Thanks Lorna!
I'm not much of an outwardly dancing man, but on the inside its a different story. I've always loved to watch a band play live, especially when they really get into a certain song. Excellent write WC. Keep on rockin'.
Thanks AP. I don't dance like i used to, but i still really enjoy good music.
