'Myth upon the wold' (Sonnet)

Poetic25

I close my eyes to paint a pictured scene
a view; unfurls and takes my breath a-way
and then my thoughts veer off unto a dream
A crystal world that’s carved in full array.
Where colours shape into a twinkled mould.
Across this place; there lies a glistened hue;
a stream runs through a gorge of Healers gold;
which lays beneath a diamond studded dew.
A water-hole is made from Moonstone shells
here angels rest and cleanse their soiled wings
and fairies come to dance around their wells.
Where giants roam and keep away the sins.
My vision of this moor begins to fold
But nice to share my ‘Myth-upon-the-wold’
