Main Sequence Attraction

themerrypapist

Like binary stars we dance an orbit

Never touching.

You do not need and neither do desire

My warmth.

We stand as Janus, back to back,

With shoulder glances.

My open arms will never welcome

Your embrace.

All my eyes could ever hope to see

Are yours.

And yet, yet, and-

What deeper closeness could we have

Than this:

Our inter-gravitation?
