The LORD is my shepherd, and so

Lift up your heads, you doors, you gates

The King of glory waits (x2)

To come into His city fine

Lead me in your truth Lord, your way

Show unto me each day (x2)

Teach me, Lord of my salvation

All the paths of the Lord mercy be

And truth to them who see (x2)

Such as His covenant do keep

From sin, evil, reprove

Try my reins, conscience, and my heart

When you said, O Lord, seek my face

Then with my heart with grace (x2)

Revealed to humble, meek (x3)

Wait on the Lord, good courage take

A firm endeavour make (x2)

And He your heart shall strengthen sure

Will help you evermore (x3)
