I hope one day I can look at you and not feel a thing

That we can smile and not think of what could have been

One day where I can be fully free of my desire to be with you

when you have made it clear you no longer want me

One day where your smile and your laugh no longer makes my heart flutter

The day I stop dreaming of you

You are no longer mine

But then again were you ever truly mine?

A day when i no longer feel the pain

You have moved on

 why is it so hard for me to do the same?

To feel so real your embrace

To feel your warmth as you hug me

The soft kisses on my neck

To say you have a girlfriend why are you here!

Then waking up and knowing it was all a dream
