Power Naps

 

A nap a day keeps yawns away

And gives energy a boost

I take one each and every day

And it leaves me there improved

 

It is a precious little time

To close my eyes a bit

And enjoy the peace I find

When I just relax and sit

 

Others are the coffee drinkers

and enjoy their cups of joe

With some enjoying it all day long

With no jitters I am told

 

I prefer to take my nap

To keep me hard at work

Relaxing in my comfy seat

To get my little perk

 

Please respect my relaxation

And know that I’ll be brief

With a minute to myself

All I really need

    Good write wc. If I do take a daytime nap and it's too long, I find I'm not tired at night. Then can't get to sleep easily. doh!
