I'll Open My Heart Up So You Can See.

kevin browne

I'll open my heart up so you can see
Trusting yourself deeply so you can trust me
When others fickle and fluster at low degrees
Sit down and work out some wonders with ease

Bend over backwards when the worlds' upside down
Your help will make people talk all over the town
Busying bodies walk past as if they're not there
Pretending to do things as if they don't care

Bubbling princess who strolls down the aisle
Take a look closer you'd run for a mile
Then you're locked down and out on the street
They'll ruffle your jacket the people you'll meet

Blinded by beggars who saw everyone pass
Tricked as if you can see for yourself at last
Magic moments always make few and far between
It's not how you do it and it's not what you mean

Passions fold over and the table has broken
Whatever it is, spin wheels and start smoking
Life twists and it tumbles off down the hill
Get up and master the craft with your will

Bend it and shape it a little so it's brand new
To start a new life if it's the right thing to do
To pick up the tools and use them with skill
Living to die for humanity or do what you will

With a long walk home, you finally see a light
To start running instead using all of your might
And now that you know you're not on your own
2 knocks on the door is a welcoming home.
