Blondie

DeviLove

Her big, bright blue eyes look up at me

The corners of her mouth turn up into a sweet smile,

Revealing two rows of pearly whites

Long, blonde hair drapes over her shoulders

She looks like Rapunzel, only younger and shorter

The giggling escaping her mouth is cheerful and loud

I can't help smile and laugh myself, seeing how cute she is

She waddles up to me, wrapping her small, pudgy arms around my legs

Raising one arm, I lift my hand and pat her head

My other arm is wrapped loosely around her tiny waist

"Ok, go play now, sweetie", I say to her

Reluctantly she lets go of me

One last look into my eyes, and she's off

Off to play with her classmates

Blondie;

Precious.

Little.

Darling.
