Answer the Calling

 

When I get that feeling

In my heart there’s a calling

An unknown path

I must be following

 

To find what’s there waiting

That which knew I’d come

Knowing I couldn’t resist

That I would be the one

 

For within my heart

I can hear it

And in my soul

I know I feel it

 

A silent beckoning

I cannot resist

To answer the calling

Something there insists

 

I know not the source

Only the signal is strong

And I’ve but no choice

To follow its enticing song
