I Hate That I Love You

thatsilentgirl

I should've passed you by,

I should've just skipped you,

But you were so funny,

What could one conversation do?

One led to others,

Others led to friendship,

But that's when it changed,

Turned into a hardship,

I started to fall,

Deeper,

Deeper,

Deeper,

Everyday,

But I didn't care at all,

Didn't want to catch myself,

I liked the way it felt,

And you liked to play your game,

By making my heart melt.

Tell me I'm pretty today,

Tell her she's gorgeous,

But why'd you say "I love you",

It started getting dangerous,

Call me Bae,

Call her boo,

Which girl do you want?

Cause you left me without a clue,

Even though you say sweet nothings to me,

I already know,

That you don't like me the way I like you.

My heart is turning blue,

Why do you do this to me?

Why make me fall if you won't catch me?

Why call me pretty if you don't mean it?

Why text me every minute of your life?

Why make me jealous?

Why rub it in my face?

Why?

We were supposed to be just friends,

Now I don't wanna see you too,

I wish it could've been different,

But I hate that I love you....
