Too Scared To Be Lonely

iusedtobefamous

“Too scared to be lonely”

Every second
Minute
Hour
Day
Week
Month
Year
Lifetime...

We are frightened of everything
Of everyone
And surround ourselves with them
Though they are the reason we cower
Wouldn’t it make more sense to be alone
Only with the person you trust
Unless we are the ones we are frightened of

Afraid of turning into one of the
Monsters we see on the news

Afraid we’re done caring
Because so many monsters show their faces
Every second
Minute
Hour
Day…

We are numb to our monsters
Which might make us monsters

Nothing will change
Not this second
Minute
Hour…

Because we are the monsters
And we can’t face ourselves alone
