Across the ballroom you catch my eye, an unforgettable sight,
Standing humble and alone, freely watching the couples on the dance floor,
Holding, touching their partners as they kiss.
Having fun while they waltz around, riding the carousels for two,
With the rides breaking up my view. Catching short sweet glimpses,
Your face, your eyes, filled with passion and hunger,
Hunger for some sweet company. I don’t know what it is about you!
Lost, cold, abandoned, hurting. It’s heartbreaking to see.
Through the romancing carousel sels, lost in the wave of movement,
Our eyes meet, shining, kindly, saying hello to each other,
I give a subtle smile, waiting for his reply,
Then he smiles back, less hurried, my heart stops beating!
I knew from that moment, I am caught under his spell,
Going pink as my gown, my eyes rushed to my unsettled feet,
Feeling the touch of his eyes, gently running across my tender skin,
Caressing me smoothly like silk, with a timeless ecstasy,
So heavenly, so warm, slowly lifting my head, wondering …
If our eyes will meet again? ‘Please do’ I silently pray.
As I casually gaze around the hall,
The desire is much stronger than before!
My eyes on you again and you know it,
In your seductive black suit, outlining your perfect, sexually sculptor shape,
Swiftly, you stand up and elegantly turn towards me.
My heart is jumping out, with disbelief, is he coming for me?
I look down at the polished wooden floor in doubt, he is never coming!
I tell myself repeatedly! ‘What am I thinking? He deserves better than I!’
Suddenly! A new sensation, the thrill of a hand on my bare shoulder,
Indescribable!
So sensual. I nervously raise my head, who will I see?
I can not believe my eyes, it is him,
Is my imagination entwined with reality?
Giving out his pale hand, inviting me to a carousel.
It is him! The truth gradually lighting up my face, gently I place my hand into his warm palm,
Swirling in his big brown eyes! Freeing the flittering butterflies! Inside,
Shaking with joy, I push myself up, steadily,
Hand in hand, guiding me to the dance floor,
Carefully taking my steps, as we go,
His lush, black hair, wavering,
Against his shoulders,
Uncontrollably flowing behind,
Feeling so lucky, my eye began to weep,
His tender inner hand, on my cheek,
Slowly he wipes the tears, lovingly, with his thumb,
Skin to skin, together, exploring the sense,
He immediately stops and goes in front, looking in me, into my soul!
Placing his right hand on my hip,
And I place my hand on his shoulder!
Gripping him tightly as we spin, creating our own carousel,
Leading me, reality seems far away now; it is just you and me!
Trapped in your tear-bringing embrace,
Is this heaven? Heart to heart, dancing,
So rich and pure! Could it be the essences of life?
Dancing and touching all night alone!
Running finger tips, down my pelvis! Twisting together and close,
‘Don’t stop please!’ The inner voice, quietly whispered,
Pulling him closer, and carefully snuggling my head in his chest,
Taking in his sweet sense,
Beating of his heart, in a trance, I softly go,
Looking up at his faultless face,
Our lips touch,
Melting in his inside burning sun,
That moment I knew I have found a pure angel, to love!
From that moment on, I realised:
I am the REAL Cinderella!!!
(Now, where is the bloody glass slipper?)
