More Than Us

The universe is more than me
Than you and your family and the rest of the earth
More than the spirits that lurk and the demons that haunt
It is more than comprehendable to us
When you take a step or make a sound vibrations are absorbed into depths that we don't know
It goes to a place of uncertainty and darkness
In which lies the deepest feelings of resentment and anger
Through that into light and soul mingling with vibrations of other voices and steps
A place beyond dimensions and spirits that is uncertain
It goes beyond science and theories so big that if we knew what it was we would cease to exist
There is no size to this energy that is everything we are and breathe
That is every life and place we can feel or see
It is so far beyond and unreachable to us
Yet it reaches through everyday
Past the gorgeous gleams of light and through the grimey, angry darkness
It grips onto our energy and feeds it
Breathes soul and life into our entities
Open your eyes and accept it as a hungry baby would to a bottle
Look into the gleaming eyes of your nuturer and feel it go through every tiny cell of your body
This is what our life is
This is what we are meant to be
