Today is your birthday. Today was an extremely difficult day. My day began with instant sadness and crying. Today was so hard I had no choice but to be late for work. I didn’t think I could calm down. Today is your birthday and I wish I could celebrate it with you, I wish I could tell you happy birthday face to face. It helped to work, but as soon as I left it sank in again. My heart is heavy with grief. Today is your birthday and it wasn’t good.
