He had those big brown eyes
innocent and kind,
take me away kinda smile
He held my hand, open doors
pulling me in more and more
Kissed my lips,
gazed at me and said
“hook line and sinker,
little lady I’m all yours”
But i should have known then,
he’s just a charmer, sweet like wine
that courteous country boy;
he broke my heart ripped me apart;
always kept me longing for more..
that courteous country boy
I’ve kissed those lips a thousand times
believed all his lines
My favorite was “baby you’re one of kind, I’m always gonna be all yours”
Stroked my hair
held me tight all through night
whispered “baby I love you always gonna treat you right”
But i should have known then,
he’s just a charmer, sweet like wine
that courteous country boy;
he broke my heart ripped me apart;
always kept me longing for more..
that courteous country boy
It was a warm April day when he bolted away
leaving me cold and all alone
I thought I would die,
Fell to my knees
All I could do was cry more and more
But i should have known then he’s just a charmer , sweet like wine
that courteous country boy;
he broke my heart ,ripped me apart;
that’s when I realized he’s just a boy and this little lady needs a man

Good one...... he charmed us all!
They tend to have that way about them 🙂
You're better off without him. And as they say, one door closes as another door opens. You'll find your true love now that you know better. Excellent write Patricia.
Touché.. thank you! I’m a huge fan of all your writings
