Broken Fuse

People ignore things everyday....you see see a crack in the sememt of the sidewalk....all people see is the sidewalk...not the crack...or the damage caused by years of rain...cold...or extremely hot weather....blood stains from ppl shot down by ignorance...no fragrant from a person who once meant the world to someone..no traces of millions of footprints , that walked all over it...cover it with dirt and shit...spit on...and unoticed.....when a restaurants light flickers...no one notices until the lights go out completely. They lose their shits because a broken fuse finally gave out....it finally stopped flickering...now they remember the light shaking...never payed attention, but now everyone is in darkness and hating it. Why did it give out so quickly?....you came in at a point in time where the light was at its weakest ....years of shedding light...warming and adding an anbiance to a setting so that you and others can make memories tell stories and enjoy seeing each other. The light has gone strong...20 + years....The fuse broke. There was still flickering....still hope that it could go on lighting up the room....but...one day....this day...the light died out. What do you say?. This stupid light....its weak....we need a new brand....wish it had like a warning to let us know when to change it. Then what do you do.....you replace it...and you start the cycle over......that light...long gone...but nothing more than a shitty light bulb the light in the selfie you posted, the light that brightened your face...the light that comforted you in an unfamiliar surrounding..the light only doing what it was meant to do...shunned for giving up after years of power..just to be thrown away.....and completely forgotten...i am....that broken fuse. The side walk is my body....i am alive today. But .....what about tomarrow?.
