Sun Child

A. F. Naturaliy

Kiss open my eyes, sun child.

Borne by the skies, sun child.

Hear the baby’s cries, sun child.

Shed light on the lies, sun child.

Love me when I’m dead, sun child.

Kiss me to bed, sun child.

My heart fills with dread, sun child.

It feels just like lead, sun child.

Momma’s weak, sun child.

The colors are bleak, sun child.

I’m past my peak, sun child.

As I leave, kiss my cheek, sun child.

I will end my debut, sun child.

This is why the sky’s blue, sun child.

I bid you adieu, sun child.

Oh, how I will I miss you, sun child.
