The Vixen

cutelilcardinal

Don’t you remember her conniving ways?

Treating us like shit even on her good days

Don’t you remember how she made us feel?

After all was said, done, and yet, even still

You remember her for the mask she put on?

I hate to tell you, but that girl is gone

You remember the girl who made you a deal?

I do hate to say it, but she was never real

Don’t you remember what happened when I left?

He chased her despite your warning against theft

Don’t you remember what she put us both through?

I thought, even now, I’d always have you

And yet, you remember the oceanic eyes?

The ones that were clearly hiding so many lies

You remember your struggle to sort out your feelings?

I was there, a message away if you needed healing

Don’t you remember how rude she can be?

And the venomous words she spat at me?

Don’t you remember that I’m right here?

I know you can’t tell, but you’re killing me, dear

Please remember that she’s a toxic person

Uses people and doesn’t realize she hurts them

Please don’t fall again for her tricks and

Stay away from her, she’s just a manipulative vixen
