If this was my last....

poeticjustice86

There's certain things that seem to cross my mind

if this was my last day on earth what would I try to find If I couldn't speak anymore how would I learn to sign

it's hard to find

That power that makes you want to do better

When the world is far above you

And your stuck inside this hell or
What some may call limbo
It's hard to believe before I got stressed and smoked I used to sing yo
But I guess I gotta wonder if this was my last day
Would I stutter when I spoke or would I know just what to say
I couldn't see myself trapped in a box under the dirt
I guess that means to creamate me and spread me across the earth
If I couldn't walk again and this was my last step
I would use it to find the motivation that I had left
And if I couldn't see again if I got one last vision
I would choose to see peace and freedom in infinite prisms
To be given all these gifts of natural senses and yet abuse them

as if had a natural addition life is fiction
We know only what humans choose to give us
Till the day we pass on and what's after comes to get us
If this was the last lyric I could ever write
I would want you all to know there's more to life than being right and there's more to writing music
Than crime and drugs
Prison an slugs
Talking about bitches and thugs
I would tell you that the children are the future
So how much better can it get if this is what they know and all are used to
If this was the last breath that I could ever take
I would give it away so that somebody under CPR would suddenly wake
And if I could choose what my everlasting memory is
I'd imprint the mood of happiness in women and kids
a dream of equal rights in the mind of populations
And everlasting love in the heart every nation

Now all this may seem to happen a little fast
But as I said its just what I would do if it was my last.....
