Cry With Me

Lyssa19

Pain
It sears through my thigh
Through my body and my heart
My soul aches with every beat
Cry with me
Sob with your crimson tears
Down my leg and drip off my ankle
Your tears so special
More special than my own
So cry with me
Hold me
Never let me go
Grip me so tightly
So tight I grasp for air
I feel your love invading my lungs
For once the strangle is pleasant
It shows you care
When you cry with me
I wish you were real
A tangible person
Able to touch
To reach out to me
To cry with me
Our salty tears would mingle together
For now though
You're just the blood that drips
You're the open wound that cries
Those scarlet drops
I fear are the only other tears
That are for me
So when I sob and I can't take it anymore
When my heart aches and it won't stop
When the razor glides over my thigh
Cry with me

    I don’t think you’re ever crying alone.
Somewhere, there’s someone crying at the exact moment as you.
    Possibly, even for similar reasons.
    Nice write.
