No Explination

The Fallen

My insanity needs explanation. Because there is so much complication. It amounts to a nation. A nation of reasons, And feelings, And people. Just like me. Waiting to see, What will be done, Or what will happen. The lack of expression is what kills the most. And the nation kills itself. Why?

No explanation.

So why? Why should this be heard? Why should these be the words?  The song sung by the birds? it isn't going to be. Nothing will be done. Nothing will happen. The nation will die. Why? No explanation.

Is it needed? Yes. Is it wanted? Yes.

Is anything done? No. But that's how we like it. The people like me, all my insanities. We will keep them, And some will survive. But nothing will strive. Why?

No explanation.

Lack of expression, Human depression, Complete devastation, Insanity.

Love to hearts' content, Nothing but resent, Sins made to repent, Insanity.

The explanation is there, but is it fair? Only to those who deserve it. In this nation, who is to care? Only those who deserve it. So why not try, why not die, why not clean up this mess in disguise? Because the nation has no explanation.

Why does the nation exist? Why does this problem exist? Why do these ties between insanities and lies define the paradox of the nation and its pride, no explanation?

Because if there was one, nothing would exist. Not the nation, not the problem, not the insanities. It was not made with solutions, but an infinity. It is made to be watched and not solved. And while the progress is solved, this is how I want things resolved. How you ask?

No explanation.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I write when I am not pleased with the world. This was the start of it all. I'm not happy with it personally, but that does not mean I don't take pride in it. I was young when I wrote this. I still am, but the one thing I have learned is that even a few years can do something for the soul...
