Pitter Patter

Lady Dale

Pitter patter, Pitter patter,
The rain falls all around
Pitter patter, Pitter patter,
Falling to the ground.
The rain provides life,
Watering plants, land and trees
Yet, everyone sees it as a strife.
Hoping no rain, will there be.

Pitter patter, Pitter patter,
The rain falls all around
Pitter patter, Pitter patter,
Falling to the ground.
The rain can be something beautiful
Yet it keeps people inside.
Listen to the rains call,
Go out in it for a ride.
Watch it drip, watch it fall,
Look around at it, all.

Go out, get wet, splash about,
Watch the colours it helps to create,
Be thankful that we do not have a draught.
And Look at the life it helps to make
The rain is part of nature beautiful and strong
How dare you say that it doesn’t belong.

Pitter patter, Pitter patter,
The rain falls all around
Pitter patter, Pitter patter,
Falling to the ground.
Enjoy the rain, as we enjoy the sun,
Don’t cower from it or hide away,
Soon enough the rain will be gone,
And the sun again will come out to play.
But the rain gives life just as much,
So remember it should be treated as such.
