It Has No Name But It Is My Home.

kevin browne

There is this place I sort of know
It has no name but it is my home
I've often wondered what it is
If my ink ran dry, what's in my tears?

So I guess I'd better let you in
It goes like this without no sins
Close the door that let you out
Open minds that let you doubt.

Earth is a tree, the oceans on fire
Don't blame me if it's you-you desire
Sun is a flower and the moon is me
I'll see you in the deep blue sea.

Candy eye summer played some dirt
Randy old river started to flirt
Under a fungus of not much room
Is usually where the sunshine looms.

Big dark barks and the angels light
I'll meet you there, it's nice and bright
Without no floors and the windows shut
Take a look down and we'll see what's up.

Diamonds take a deal in the action
Love is best when it's been practising
There is no fear if you feel alone
Life still left in an old skimming stone.

There is beauty in this home of mine
It's here where I live most of my time
When the tough get tougher than before
Take another tablet and stare at the wall.

In Wonderland Alice was playing stupid
And I acted out with her playing cupid
I shot my arrow and it hit me in the heart
It broke then kept me and her apart.

Look in the mirror hanging on my wall
Don't disappear into anything at all
And if you do then do it carefully
Then you and the world will be free.

My little old home keeps the magic
It's even managed to do a hat-trick
So, it's right here where I'm gonna stay
To dream away my life if I may.
