MATRIMONY

Esala

All new love looking like forever

I know you feel so

Hooked unto the idea of till death do us part

If only it were that easy

The noise gets louder with time

The union suddenly looking lousy

Was the bond even worth a dime?

Saucy it was at the onset

Messy it is looking even before the sunset

You look again and it all seems a farce

It was a beautiful game at the beginning

Why has it suddenly become lame?

Monotonous it seems

No more light beams

Fireflies disappearing all of a sudden

Have the two really become one?

You seem as duple as possible

The bed can still be salvaged

The sacred bond can be mended

It is never too late for a fix

But are you really willing to patch it?

This is a real test of your resolve

But you can fall into the web of love again

Remember the goodies an the gain

Remember no pain, no gain

It is beyond your brain

Intellect alone cannot define love

It is all natural

It is better till divine

Cos’ for love all you resign

It is holy

It is called a matrimony.
