Feel like I can’t breathe
Heart racing
So exhausted
Can barely keep my eyes open
So anxious
Longing so deep
So painful
I feel sick
I want to vomit
I want to scream
I want to cry
I want to run to him
Shshhakkinnng
I know I can’t
Coping mechanisms failing
Energy fading
Light dwindling
But
Love burning hot as ever
Must put him first
Can’t cause him pain
Must bear this burden
Who ever said love was easy?
Must be patient
Must be professional
Tearing me apart
Keeping me from functioning
Must Keep going
“Breathe in... Breathe out.”
One step at a time
Keep going!
You can do this
Get up!
I said get up!
