Caliginosity

Baylee

My darkness

My starless sky

My nighttime lover

Meet me at the dusk

of a lackluster sky

and as the sun sets

the reality of our schooling

may fade with the moribund light

Lay me down

within this caliginosity

because only in the dark

are you a sweet dream

come to life

My pupils dilate

but I cannot see a thing

The human race is taught to fear tenebrosity

but I am enamored with it,

for it hides my guilt, my shame,

and my sins.
