Nightmares

bonitalunita

Far from normal, lost, and sad

I want to escape the nightmare I had

It started when I woke up and continued till I slept. It woke me in the night and caused me to fret and when I dreamed it was there too.

The nightmare that haunts me is you.

You grin and you whisper. You call me to have more, call me to explore past the locked door.

I have seen top and bottom from both ends but it really matters where you have made your friends. The comfort calls you, it’s in a disguise.

It might make you smile but it will sure make you cry. And at the bottom with no escape, you find yourself at deaths gate.

The nightmare that haunts me is always around, staring from the puddles on the ground.

She stands there pleased as I fall to my knees. She wants to destroy me.

I look into her eyes: dark and soulless, the same color as mine.

Why’d does she hurt me? When did she emerge?

The darkness in me can always be heard.
