Perfect

Honey Silk

I am everything less than perfect and I like it that way.

My big brown eyes don't always shine.

My smile doesn't always brighten the room.

My hair is always decisive on how it wants to look.

And my belly is just a part of my curves.

I was never perfect nor do I ever want to be. Because I am enough for me.

Besides, why be perfect when you are already one of a kind?

You are a work of art, a master piece for all to behold and there is no one that could take it away from you.

Your worth is defined by you and only you.

And I know it seems hard for now but when you start to embrace the wonderful being you already are, you'll feel new things.

Different sights will come along and once thought to be closed are actually more open doors.

So please. Start recognizing the real work of wonder. You.
