// The Man Who Was Pensioned Off from the Army because of Ill Health

Father, how does a man love, according to divine precept, his neighbor as himself

when, discouragingly, man knows that his Christian brothers in name are weighed

down in pity, rumor, and inconvenience.  How does a man love his neighbor as

himself, when man lacks the momentum to confront the disability of his own

confinement, weighing him down like an overfill pension that he wished was his.
