Golden boy

Patricia LaFazia

His hair was golden like the sun
Eyes that changed from green to blue
His smile just so coy
I never thought I’d fall so hard for this boy
Season change
years have passed
We grew apart
I broke his heart
He forgave this girl for being so untrue
I see the pain behind his eyes
I wish I never told him lies
He holds me tight
Kisses my forehead almost every night
I swear I’m going to do whatever it takes to make this right
For a love like his only comes once in your life.
