He Is There For Me
He’s always there for me
With a love that’s real and deep
Of the Father and the Son
As a light for everyone
He always makes me feel well
And His story I want to tell
And let all my people know
That He lives and loves us so
He is comfort to my being
Giving me focus and true meaning
And He gives me drive
To follow Him arisen high
How I love Him so
And appreciate that my pain He knows
With a understanding given Him
Having lived life as a man
He was sacrificed for my soul
And is the best thing that I know
As a flame and always burning
With warmth for my every yearning
