Deadly Sleep

Felicityjones

Her sanity has faded,

her heart grew dark.

She sees no hope,

the thoughts are stark.

Every morning is a struggle,

every night there's tears.

Where did she go wrong?

She wants out of here.

Anxiety they say,

it's all in her head.

Depression gets worse,

she wants to be dead.

She copes with sex and drugs,

getting wasted every night.

Her mind isn't all there,

nothing is alright.

Nobody can save her,

all alone she sits.

Isolated from the world,

she throws one of her fits.

Taking out her knife,

saying goodbye.

Sees her family photo and starts to cry.

Makes that first cut,

Now she's bleeding on the floor.

Awaiting a deadly sleep,

her existence no more.
