My Happiness

lostbutfound

I’m not sure where I lost you and I’m not sure if you’ll ever return
I try to find you when the sun is bright and beating down on my pale skin
I try to hear you in my favorite songs and in the laughter of those I love
I try to feel you in his arms and when his soft lips kiss my neck sending chills down my spine
But when the days are rainy and the colors are gray it is so hard to find you
Where did you go?
When laughter turns to fights and degrading words from my mother who doesn’t understand why I cry so often and look exhausted
Please come back to me.
When his once so fulfilling kisses turn into regrets due to his lack of ability to see my beauty that goes much deeper than just right beneath my clothing
I need you desperately.
- my happiness, if found please return..
