Stratospheric Pulses

kevin browne

In search of stars which are fading
Inside a galaxy of intricate motion
A trillion light years away are crying out
The Moon has landed on no doubt
And the brightness captures light
A spectrum of illusional delight
The sun the skies the moon the stars
Stratospheric pulses sent to Mars
Where darkness brightens up life
Falling from the heights of its grace
Lightning strikes a match for fire
A universe which has earnt its place
Sure in knowing the Northern display
Sparkles the mountain tops on Earth
An artistic flair revealed in its own way
Martians temple of the UFO secrecy
Fact or fiction depending where you live
Ground control to Major Tom eventually
It spins, it bends, it travels on forever
Passing every atom that ever existed
When physics acted out to be so clever
Equations were thought to work out what
That there we live on the tiniest of dots
Where these humans modified science
We read our palms from the system stars
The palms of our hearts touching Heaven
Time spaced out in the fastest time ever
When it passed us in the blink of an eye
Just the existence of it is so clever
The wonders of it all as we wonder why.

Perceptive write on the spin and bend of planetary existence and put in poetic prose the subject compels minds such as mine who wonder at the "wonder of it all" - -an engaging read Kevin.

and leaving me with such a wonderful comment from even a more wonderful lady. I expect everything has already been written about the existence of this great expanse of space, but, there's no harm in writing more. thanks, Fay.
