Good Friday's First Love

G.K

"There she was,

I came upon her unexpectedly

This angel with a disguise,

was playing with a fairy,

God help me,

I've lost it again,

Loving this woman,

who broke  me and sent me insane,

The years have passed,

yet again we are fated to see each other

chained by the heart,

to destiny's little game...

But this time it's different

she's not the same...

She looked at me a bit surprised

our eyes held I think she forgot to breathe...

"Is this your baby "

I held her tiny hands

something churned inside of  me

something changed me completely

I  couldn't hate this lady,

she seems to be very very happy,

I didn't think she would reply

I half expected her to turn and run,

but no, her eyes softened and she smiles

my heart fluttered as she said," She's a girl"

leave it to Anna lost in her own world

"Don't you think you should dress her as one."

She flustered, "maybe I wanted a boy."

our eyes met, I couldn't take it no more

I turn to leave, I can feel my pulse racing,

breathe, breathe. I love this woman still...

"When will you have yours, a baby"

I halted, turned and looked at her in disbelief.

but kindness spread across her face,

she was beautiful, not wanting us to part awkwardly

I loved it, but can't hold on to it, I wanted it her happiness

"Pressure!" I blurted out unconsciously

"Yeah, but a baby makes the pressure of life worth it"

She loves me and I love her

It's Happiness...I smiled...

And finally, she got away...

leaving the knowledge of her presence all day...

well, it is, after all, Good Friday ...
