Have Pity on Us

True, He has Risen!
Now were the ten not made clean?
Tell, where are the nine?

A fine write Gary. I know what you mean. The next Sunday is sometimes called Low Sunday - people disappear from church after Easter. well, some anyway!
Arrggh, a bit of an ominous name for a Sunday - pews deserted?! If ya have pews, that is.

Praying for a conversion of hearts....much of which could start with a simple bit of gratitude for that very next breath! Thanks Orchidee, I am certainly grateful for your read, comment, and our love in common for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Whether 'Anglican' or whatever, one church magazine slagged off Billy Graham, of all people, for sending people back to their own denominations after conversion. They had formerly been there as 'nominal' church members, as in 'Just because something (say a bicycle) is in a garage it does not mean it's a car!'.

There’s a spark of God’s image (and it follows for us Trinitarian Christians, of Jesus Christ) in every human being that has ever walked the face of this earth; whether openly admited or not. I read in a similar article how Rev. Graham consulted with JPII regarding the many Catholics whom would attend his Crusades; how to speak to them regarding his famous “altar calls.” It all worked out for the better I think and what followed is more like what Jesus Christ prays for in John 17. My wife and I loved watching the portrayal of the young Rev. Graham meeting the young Queen Elizabeth in the Netflix original series: The Crown.
