Everyone wants to feel whole and complete
Because being just a part feels like a defeat
You know nothing can give you lasting satisfaction
So realize you are a whole number, not a fraction.

You see that all things are imperfect
And that these things are all an aspect
Of a larger whole where we are all one
So realize this and your desiring’s done.

Desire after desire, like a never ending fire
A fire that will burn unless you aspire
To see what you desire will not satisfy
All desire fading away, it’s all right to cry

Because the journey is over and now you can see
You can see, what it’s like to be me
Never finding satisfaction in material things
