walking hand by hand, not having a care in the world, thinking anything can happen, facing life, like we're invincible.

blindly walking through your life, living right here and now, laughing at the smallest thing not thinking what life will bring.   going to bed, dreaming big, saving damsels in distress. fighting dragons, witches, kings. nothing more, than the success.       facing life with fear in your eyes, never knowing what the next day will bring. hiding in you brave disguise, but you know that smile is nothing but lies.   going to bed, dreaming small, just hoping that the night would pass, expectations are so high you feel, like the burden's gonna crush you down.   screaming out for all to hear, yet there's no one there to hear your prayers. so invisible you feel you'll disappear, with no one there to cry a single tear.       you wish you were still a kid, with no responsibility, when a hug could fix your broken heart, and a kiss forget you invisibility.   going to bed, no dreams tonight, mind too filled with vivid scars, too busy trying to be the light, so your kid can now play the brave knight.   every step has taught you a lesson, making sure you don't repeat the same mistakes, so leave the dreams for when you're a sleep, cause now you have someone fragile that easily breaks.
