Tunnel Vision

sylviasearcher

Darkness stretching forever forward
Darkness clawing from behind
Darkness is all around us
Where went the light spaces of your mind?

Tunnel reaches into darkness
Tunnel tightens around your soul
Tunnel hidden from the people
Deepest, darkest, blackest hole.

Running forwards
Fleeing back
Spinning in circles
Long lost track.

Faster
Nowhere
Nothing
None.

Never
Here.
Never

Gone.

Thank you yellow rose. Yes it is the narrowing of the tunnel into nothingness...

I think I'm feeling a bit bleugh today...

But then I realised it was Maya angelou's birthday and that Google had gifted us this and I felt uplifted!

A clever form to explain the feel of narrowing tunnel when vision seems lost and dark folds us in. An engaging read Sylvia and thanks for sharing.
