Deepest Love

kitcat

A stem from my rose
Entwined to your heart
Put into my soul
We will never be apart

A ballroom of dancers
We glide across the floor
Holding you close to me
My beautiful woman I adore

A captains salute
With a sailors knot
Sailing the seas
Never to be forgot

Our dreams and hopes
We did fulfill
Our wonderful sixty years
Then sadly you became ill

Loving you so deeply
I was holding you so tight
So scared I would lose you
But you passed in the night

The rose from my soul
To us it only belongs
I yearn to be with you
As I cannot go on

Such a beautiful piece. So much emotion, and very sad as well. Thank you for sharing.
