Et Joël, et tenet

MP Martinez

All the days of tears and mourning come

The once alive returned into ashes

He, who was condemned, will he be saved?

He, who had sinned, will he be forgiven?

Oh God please have mercy.

Bells of judgment soon be ringing

As end slowly approaching

He, who was holy, will he be judged?

Or God will let him pass?

Nights of countless past

Many lives wasted, extinguished and crushed

Lost from battle, lost from fire

Is it God's castigation?

Or is it just purely man's demise?

To whom should fault be blame?

To God, his Holiness or to man, his masterpiece

What should be done? What should not be done?

To continue to sin or to beg for forgiveness

Tell us oh God

Will the great flood be repeated?

Washing everything away with no one left?

Or with God's clemency we can still be saved?

Is it too late for second chances

When we wasted a ton of it?

Oh God have mercy

In the beginning, in the end

What comes before shall go back

We who was made from dust

We shall return to what we were once

So what's with the death we fear so much?

Our lives were counted on his very palm

As the heaven's court await our baptism of fire

With our story being read in front

Our life will be played back

And all our deeds and acts will be judged

The time has come

Golden trumpets were being blown

Announcing His Holiness return

Those who had his love accepted

Angels will brought them to Elysium

Those who had him denied all their life

What awaits of them was sea of Pandemonium

Now as I'm waiting for my time

I wonder what will my verdict be

Those days I spent living on Earth

Are they that worth?

Finally my name has been called

Then I leave you now for you to wait your turn
