My Boy

redneckwriter

From the day you were born, I’ve loved you so much. Though as you get older, and grow out of touch. Please always remember, I’m always around. To help lift you up, when your feeling down. Your so much like I was, so hyper and fun. You can’t wait to get out, just get up and run. I know that its coming, though years it may be. But that doesn’t stop it, from terrifying me. Each time I turn around, your bigger and stronger. I wish I could freeze time, and drag this out longer. I know this is normal, your going to grow. But before you start running, I need you to know. My doors always open, plus don’t forget to call. And always ask for help, wether it’s big or it’s small. Even if you are grown, your still my little boy. And a part of all the things, that give my life joy.
