Just you

Patricia LaFazia

There is no chance to make things right
No reason to keep up the fight
The bed has been made
All the hope has begun to fade

All the promises we make
Just bend and break
All the smiles we fake
It’s never been give, only take
All I wanted was you

The bell has rung the round is over
No luck, no glory, no four leaf clover
The dream is over now we run for cover
Too many lies have been told
We’ve both grown cold
We’re past the point
there’s nothing left to hold

All the promises we make
Just bend and break
All the smiles we fake
It’s never been give, only take
All I wanted was you

Never needed anything but you

All the promises we make
Just bend and break
All the smiles we fake
It’s never been give, only take
All I wanted was you

I've been there before and its hard to come back from, thanks for reminding me of long broken loves...
