Stronger Me

stevievize

I try and move forward
My head standing tall
I act like I’m not bothered no more
But then it hits me like a wall

The past has taught me lessons
Ones I cannot always ignore
And then I think of the reasons
And I remember no more

I am a stronger person, a stronger mother as well
As the past doesn’t define me
It’s made me excel

So through the storm I’m reborn
To a person not a shell
And now there is no more time to mourn
I’m doing pretty well
