In my dormancy

Ankita PS Kashyap

Through the window pane, braided with flowery bands

Stealing a glance of you, escaping into the husky mist

I seek for u through the unknown ventures

I find you peeping through autumn

Winter ,yes it is approaching

Frozen hands of mine stretch towards yours

I feel you close to me

And the warmth of your love

The love of souls and not of flesh

We find our eyes resting on the other's

Oh the chilly breeze

Out we remain comfortable with hands hooked

A tired head on your shoulder

A strong shoulder for me to shed my pain

Warm drops from two pairs of happy eyes

Two incomplete souls passing into oneness

The drops shed echo love and

Beauty of life and love complete with complements

Every single moment lived

Was a bliss still to be touched

The window was but the window of my heart

The peace in my dormancy.
