We don't have to prove to God that we are His
for He knows all
We have to prove to ourselves that we belong
And that we are His

For He knows our hearts and thoughts
To be deceived He cannot
Naked before Him lies our intentions
Our words and actions

A valuation of self
This will help
Do we follow the crowd
Or do we stand on biblical grounds

We say one thing
And do the opposite
This makes us hypocrite
Disgusted inside like pipes of a sick

If we say we belong to Him
Then His presence of divine
Will dwell with-in
Our hearts and mine

Relying on His grace
By His words, we are being sanctified
Putting Him 1st place
Of our daily lives

To love one another
And honor our heavenly Father
With in our lifestyle made clear
That we are doing is Will

Bearing fruits of righteousness
With the words we speak
The Gospel we defend
Clothed in humility

To be Christian is not to be religious
That mine Set
Causes destruction to Descend
On the purpose of our existence

For we were created not to worship
With tradition and regulations
But in obedience
In an intimate relationship
With Him

Come 2 Jesus today

Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

John 1:12-13
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
