Angels Were Never Meant to Fall

SilverXball

Angels were never meant to fall

But the soul of a sinner heard my call

And from the sky I fell from grace

Without my wings for just one taste

So darling let me hold you, free from my regret

And I know the pain will reach me, it just hasn't got here yet

My purity, my hopefulness, my soundly voice

All for this world, did I make the right choice?

Cause angels were never meant to fall

But the soul of a sinner heard my call

Is this the power of eternal devotion

The gentle crash of waves of the ocean

So when an angel falls from grace

A wave will crash, in its place

Love sometimes is worth the sin, indeed. Well done.
