Crave!

Malctg

How often do we crave to go back in time

to change the mistakes we made

though the past is like a distant mime

every event long ago played

so easy to try and reshape the blunder

that tugs at our stressful minds

we forget those moments of wonder

bad memories linger good fade

can our lives be planned even the pain

win or fail this is meant to be so

many facets to reach for a higher plain

maybe it is best we do not know

that there is no possibility to go back

not at this point in our turbulent history

would this be a cosmic crime

what might have been stays a mystery!

Life for us is short ticktock! For nobody will it stop!

    This speaks to me
So many things in life i wish i could go back and change
    They haunt me
    But the past is irrelevant
The future is what matters most

Hi Lorna Must agree The times before smartphones and computers to me was far better! In the sixties before seat belt plenty of room to enjoy the open road! But I can see myself much further back in history! Thank you for calling by and liking "Crave!" Be Safe#TheFoureyedPoet.
