Mentally Free

Sometimes you come to a point in your life when you realize your not the same. The ones who you thought you should blame; that blame don’t feel the same. You realize you think different, you feel different, and you react different. You realize who you once was is stronger than who you are becoming. The girl you once was; was powerful, fearless, strong, and strong minded. She had inner beauty to match the outer beauty. That girl could never be broken. She got back up and dusted herself off and kept moving forward. She never cared about opinions and she never let anyone break her spirit. See that girl has been through the storm and battled many things her life. She never really felt loved but she craved it. She was hated by everyone and she didn’t deserve it. She almost stole her own life but she conquered it all. She made it through better than ever. She was so joyful and found the bright side in any and everything. But I can’t find her; if she could see the person you have become she would hang her head. She would tell you you’ve let life defeat you and you’ve given up on me. She would tell you to get up , dust yourself off, and realize what you have already overcome. She would tell you your beautiful and special. Amazing and worth it. She would tell you to be fearless and go for everything that belongs to you; because your a queen and no one should take your crown. She would tell you; you wasn’t built to be broken. You was made to rise above any hardship and hardtimes . You may wonder how I know all this. Well... it’s  because that girl was me back when I was mentally free.
