flat-line in conversation

little lay lay

You started as my one and only. My ride

Or die.  the pain i caused you is not

Understood to anyone not even myself.

Clearly now the ties are drawn

Unto us. and you

Taste salt water in bitterness because of

Me and you hate me.

Every time i cry you never hear it because you

Lost passion for me,

Over a probable cause which caused an

Outrage between you and i and our

Screams were no longer pleasurable

Evil words were said and i soon cut you off too because you became my die and took me off my high.

  • Comment from author about the poem: i wanted to show a little artistry by taking an acrostic format and speaking metaphorically about my tragic love story and the acrostic is the aftermath of the relationship hence "you cut me loose" and ending up in dead communication. I chose a kaleidoscope as my title's background because love is everything it never fails but it can disappoint if the relationship has ended and love is like a kaleidoscope because you get so impressed by the shapes and shiny things we see so much as when you are in love you are impressed by your lover. If something happens where everything is "cut loose" you realize the shapes were a figure of your imagination and the shiny things were fake.
